We are building the world’s first business accelerator for social enterprises in the Catholic missions. Our flagship project is in Pakistan, with other initiatives hopefully coming soon in the Pacific and in deep Africa.
A social enterprise blends free-market capitalism with targeted philanthropic goals. It is a real business that exists at least in part to improve its community by leveraging the capacity of its ownership and customers to exceed normal market limits by acts and habits of generosity. In other words, it’s a company that is set up for the sake of “giving back” in a sustainable way through revenue generation. Our partnering companies are focused on humanitarian or apostolic works in Catholic mission territories or other under-privileged areas.
Pro Fide is pursuing a fiscal sponsorship model, which allows for tax-deductible gifts to be made to us in support of our mission.
At this early stage of our operations, we are not able to take requests for partnerships.
